We live in two tents along with our interpreters and enjoy absolutely everything that reminds us of home. We are in our eighth month of a 15 month deployment, and continue to stay extremely busy.
We are an infantry platoon which means I ask them to do everything from kicking in doors to handing out pencils at local schools. They are an extremely dedicated group of individuals, and I am honored to work beside these men. I am not sure if you are truly aware of what your support means to us. I assure you that “Hugs from Home” has a tremendous impact on every soldier it touches.
